How we rear our Geese

The Geese are allowed to graze fresh grass throughout the day, only being housed at night for safety, within a stable with fresh water to drink, hay to peck at and clean straw for warm, dry bedding. This ensures the Geese are reared with as little stress as possible, in a natural environment, having grass under their feet.
Their mainly grass diet is supplemented with some home-grown barley, as we aim to produce a relatively slowly maturing Goose, with tender, tasty meat ready for the perfect, traditional Christmas dinner.

Dinner is served!
